Can Readerware display the total value of my library?

Yes.

Select the View->View Statistics menu item. Readerware will display a number of statistics for your data including the total value.

Readerware is actually displaying the statistics for the current search results. If you are displaying your entire database, then you see the total value of your library. But what if you have books in different locations and want the value of books at a particular location. Simply search by location and the view the statistics.
