Keywords: order, entered, display
The quick answer is click on the Book ID column header to sort your search results in the order they were entered. Look for the Album ID column in the music version and Video ID column in the video version.
Readerware assigns a unique sequential number to each item as it is added to the database. So to sort items in the order they were entered into the system, just sort on this column. Click on the Book ID column header to sort in ascending sequence, click again to sort in descending sequence.
If the Book ID column is not visible, right click on a column header, (control click on Mac OS X), and select the column from the Show popup menu.
There are times when you would really like to sort your database or current search results in the order they were entered rather than alphabetically.
For example, when Readerware auto-catalog completes, it displays a list of all the new items. The list is sorted in the normal sequence. Maybe you now want to go through the books you just cataloged and edit the entries. Your books are stacked in the order you scanned them, how can you display the search results in the same order? Sort on the Book ID column.
