Yes!
We have completed our testing with the release version of Mac OS X 10.10, Yosemite, and all Readerware programs run fine.
Unfortunately with the release of Yosemite, Apple has made it harder to install Java. Readerware does require Java. It used to be that the first time you ran a Java program you were prompted to install Java. You clicked OK and the install was automatic. Apple now require that you manually download and install Java.
You will have to go through this process even if you had Java installed prior to upgrading. The Yosemite upgrade removes any existing Java installations.
The first time you run a Readerware program you should see the following dialog:
Do not click OK, the dialog will just close. You must click on the More Info button and the Apple Java download page will be opened in your browser:
Update: There appears to be a bug in the latest version of the Apple Safari browser. When you go to the above Apple support page in Safari you may get a blank screen. It works in other browsers. Apple is aware of the problem. If you get a blank screen you can download Apple Java from https://support.apple.com/downloads/DL1572/en_US/JavaForOSX2014-001.dmg.
Click on the Download button to download the Apple Java installer. The file will be created in your normal Downloads folder. The installer is distributed as an Apple Disk Image file. Double-click on the downloaded file to open the disk image:
Inside you will find a single file. This is the Apple Java installer. Double-click on the file to launch the installer:
Click on the Continue button to work your way through the installer. You will be asked to agree to the Apple licensing terms and you will need to supply your system password so that the installer can copy the files to your hard drive. Once the install completes you are ready to go:
Fortunately you only have to go through this process once. It will install Java on your system and you will now be able to run any Readerware program or any Java program.
