Yes. Readerware will run on both 32 and 64 bit versions of Windows 10. Readerware 3.48 or above is recommended on Windows 10.
If you need to upgrade Readerware, the latest version is available here.
If you would like the latest version of Readerware on CD, you may order a new CD for US $11.95 here. Shipping is free to US destinations, US $5.00 elsewhere.
If you are getting a new Windows 10 PC there is help on transferring your Readerware databases to your new machine here.
If you are upgrading from an earlier version of Windows to Windows 10, we recommend that you reinstall Readerware 3.48 or higher. As you probably know the Windows start menu has changed a lot in Windows 10. Our installer checks which version of Windows you are running and makes the appropriate entries on the start menu. If you upgraded then you may have duplicate Readerware entries on your Windows 10 start menu. We recommend that you download the Readerware Windows Web Installer from here and reinstall it. If the Readerware Windows Web Installer offers to uninstall Readerware first, you should do that. This will ensure that the Readerware start menu entries are correct for Windows 10.
The Microsoft Edge Browser
The new Microsoft Edge browser included with Windows 10 does not support drag & drop. Reading the Microsoft support forums this is something a lot of users have complained about, so hopefully it will be added at some point.
This means that you cannot catalog a book in Readerware by dragging a web page to Readerware when using Edge. There is an alternative, you can copy/paste the URL into Readerware.
If you would like to be able to drag & drop onto Readerware, other browsers are available for Windows 10. Microsoft Internet Explorer is still available for Windows 10, also checkout Firefox.
